Teddy’s Tune of the week club is part of a Facebook group simply called “Saxophonists”. There we share saxophone improvisation over standards simply for the pleasure of playing for each other. No one is making any money from this. These are my offerings for the group. It is kind of a weird saxophonist thing to do. Imagine a grown man (or woman) sitting in a practice room alone with some modern tech stuff trying to wrestle a 70 year old song to the ground. The act of practicing, knowing that someone just might actually hear what it is you are doing makes the whole process of self improvement a little more real.
