Free Stuff, Lessons & Useful Links

Good information is hard enough to come by at the best of times, but don't despair! Over on the right hand side is a list of links to some educational stuff I have put together as well as links to a few great Internet sites that really care about keeping the "Jazz Flame" burning.

The Good Oil is a site that offers many contributions under the headings:
Technique, Beginners, Breathing, Discussion, Playalong (midi, mps's), Jazz Theory, Practicing Advice, Rhythm, Scales, Sound and solo transcriptions.

Jazz-O-Matic is a free site that features online audio lessons and learning by ear.

Tim Price and Pete Thomas are great saxophonists that have been around for some time. They are committed to helping people learn jazz and do this by putting their lessons and ideas and insights on the web.

If you have found any links that think are exceptional or that no saxophonist should do without please send me the URL.
